College Highlights

Cork is long established as a city of learning with tens of thousands of students attending our many colleges.

Opened in 1845 the largest, with over 20,000 students, and closest to the city centre is University College Cork which has consistently been voted the top university in Ireland.

In Bishopstown, a short bus ride from the city centre, Cork Institute of Technology has a hugely impressive reputation in providing career-focused education.

Cork School of Music is a branch of CIT that is located in the city centre at Union Quay. This is the country's premier music college and more information is available here

Cork College of Commerce, located in the heart of the city centre, is Ireland's largest post-leaving certificate college with over 2000 day students and 4000 night time students with full time and part time courses.
