Sailing around the Cork Rivers and coastlines is one of life’s great experiences. See the surroundings from a different perspective by sailing around some of beautiful southern landscapes in Ireland. Cork has several sailing clubs.
The Royal Cork Yacht club, Kinsale Sailing club, South Cork Sailing Club, Schull Harbour Sailing Club, Monkstown Bay Sailing Club, Inniscarra Sailing, Cove Sailing Club and Baltimore Sailing Club are some of the top sailing clubs throughout the city. Get the experience of a lifetime by taking a boat to the water and discovering a side you never knew you had!
The biggest sailing regatta in Ireland is undoubtedly Cork Week which happens every two years. For info on the 2014 event click here
Cork city also offers many clubs which specialize in rowing such as the Lee Rowing Club and the Cork Boat Club. Cork has clubs over 100 years old, each with different history behind them.
